Dr Mark Byrne has been the Principal Dental Surgeon at Cherry Trees Dental Practice since 1987, qualifying from Trinity College Dublin in 1984. Having research experience and published articles, Dr Byrne has an interest in all aspects of dentistry, which has been supported by London post-graduate study groups (M.G D.S RCS) and clinical attachments at Guys Hospital. He also has a degree in Dental Material Science.

Since 2002, Dr Byrne has extensively restored implants, with the surgical phase undertaken in
house by Mr John Tighe. They have been happy to provide implant treatments to referred patients from local practices for many years often using IV. sedation.

Dr Byrne is married with two sons and lives in Reigate.

Mr John Tighe has worked at the Cherry Trees practice since 2001 undertaking a weekly session carrying out the oral surgical needs of the practice.
Dr Ioana Pop is the visiting Endodontist at Cherry Trees Dental Practice. She has extensive hospital training and experience in Oral Surgery, IV Sedation and Endodontics.
Dr Vipul Patel is the visiting Periodontist at Cherry Trees. He is dually qualified in Medicine and Dentistry and has a wide experience in Medicine, Surgery, Implants & Sedation.
Dr Zahra Nimaa graduated from Kings College London in 2014 with honours. She has since worked extensively in various dental and surgical specialties in hospitals in and around London.
Dr Mariella Mackinlay graduated from Cardiff University in 2019 with honours and completed Foundation Training with the London KSS Deanery. She has worked in General Practice ever since.
Kiley Jackson is a dental hygienist who is passionate and dedicated to ensuring patients have the knowledge and skills to keep their oral health at its very best.
Katerina qualified as a dental nurse in 2018 and in 2023 completed a BSc in Dental Therapy and Hygiene at King's College London.
