you for visiting our newsletter page. This page's main objective is to keep
our current and prospective clients up to date with news and events relating
to Cherry Trees Dental Practice.
We aim to update the newsletter monthly so we hope you will come back on a regular basis to find out about the latest developments at the practice.
In a busy practice it is essential that the supporting staff are well trained and up to date with the needs of the dentists they work with, especially as new procedures and techniques are being introduced all the time.
All our staff are encouraged to work toward their continued professional development and to this end our dedicated hygenist, Zoe, has recently completed courses in impression taking, re-cementing crowns, and the giving of dental block (local anaesthesia). The role of the hygenist is expanding and Zoe is taking it on board with enthusiasm.
Maria and Dawn our dental nurses also regularly attend courses with Dawn recently becoming an oral health educator and now holding her own sessions to help and encourage our patients with brushing techniques and diet analysis, her younger patients particularly seems to enjoy her pictures of "good and bad bugs!"
Maria is our longest serving member of staff and has seen many changes to the practice; for instance our expansion over the years has included specialists joining the team offering more cosmetic and complex treatments. Mr John Tighe, consultant oral surgeon, undertakes minor oral surgery and provision of implants which require special nursing practices for which Maria has achieved certificates in the advanced implant course.
|We all aim to provide our patients with as comprehensive a service as possible and to make your visit as pleasant as we can.|
